SAFARTICA CHRISTMAS ELF GUIDE / YLLÄS

We are currently recruiting CHRISTMAS ELF GUIDES for winter season 2024-2025 / November and December!

Safartica offers to our guests only one thing - pure joy! It means unforgettable arctic experiences, touch to the nature, and joy that is reflecting out from both our clients and the staff.

We provide all land services, including accommodation, transfers, Christmas programs, and our own nature activities such as snowmobiling from 2 hours to full-day safari, husky, and reindeer safaris from 500 m to overnight adventures, aurora tours, ice-fishing, forest skiing, ice floating to mention few.

We believe in individual, meaningful experiences and personal service and ongoing product, service, and expertise development. Experts in Lapland land services, we are creative, flexible, and reliable, join us for an adventure!

Elf Responsibilities:

Assist Santa Claus and the elf team during Christmas programs in elf-themed activities and handicrafts.
Maintain a festive atmosphere at all times, interact with children and adults wearing a big smile!

Elf requirements:

Availability to work as much as possible including weekends and holidays.
Enthusiastic, outgoing and proactive attitude. Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We are expecting from you:
- good customer service skills
- skills to cope with fast-changing environment and under pressure
- flexibility
- positive attitude towards work and work team
- fluent English
- driving license (B class)

Professional requirements
- first aid skills certificate
- wilderness skills: fire-making in extreme conditions, orienteering and operating in winter conditions
- skills to drive on snow
- passed arctic guide course (www.arcticguide.fi)
- hygiene passport

If you don't have some of those skills, we can train it for you for free.

The following are considered as an advantage:
- previous work experience with kids, the world of theater or entertainment
- previous experience in hospitality and/or tourism
- other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, German and Chinese
- good knowledge of Ylläs and surroundings
